Travel to Sonoma in your Armchair

This is really cool for home winemakers. And it can actually affect the grapes we get. You can travel to vineyards that have grapes for sale in Sonoma County. Here is how it works:
First you go to the Sonoma County Grape Commission and you look at the listings or you choose the type of grape you are interested in with the search feature. When you finally arrive at a vineyard that has grapes for sale you will notice at the bottom of the box ” View Vineyard Details” Click on that and it will open a map of the region and the are. You can zoom in as well.
So boys its time to do a little home work to pass along to Frank Musto.

I will go through the Zinfandel producers and check it out. Any idea how many tons Frank Musto wants to get in total from Sonoma. There are a lot of small producers which is nice, I already say a hillside producer that sounds great – vines are mature.
Not sure of the amounts but I know $$$ also determine that number. I did forward this to him today along with the Alert on the Moth
